Camp Akalaka day camp is a partnership between Cornell Cooperative Extension of Franklin County & the Greater Malone YMCA. All children ages 5-12 years of age are welcome to participate in a variety of fun summer activities. For more information, visit our NEW website: www.campakalaka.org

Camp Akalaka Weeks

Due to the CDC guidelines for proper and safe social distancing measures you will find there isn’t a spot to choose a weekly class. Don’t worry! We have created a plan so that every camper will get to a chance to experience every class throughout the summer!

Unfortunately trips are also cancelled this summer. But again the Akalaka team has created a plan to bring the trips to camp instead!

1: June 29th - July 3rd

2: July 6th - July 10th

3: July 13th - July 17th

4: July 20th - July 24th

5: July 27th - July 31st

6: August 3rd - August 7th

7:Augist 10th- August 14th

8: August 17th- August 21st 

Camp Akalaka will be held at The Malone Ice Arena, 64 State Street, Malone


Camp Akalaka Fees

$145 per week / one child

    $265 per week / two siblings

      $385 per week / three siblings

Camp Akalaka is a certified day camp registered with NYS Department of Health
