Super Opportunity!! FREE at 4-H Camp Overlook!

Open to Franklin County 4H Youth enrolled in a small ruminant project-goat, sheep, alpaca.

Arrive after noon on Friday, June 11, with your family at 4H Camp Overlook. All family units will have their own cabin! Yes, you may come for only Saturday, June 12, but who doesn’t love camping?

Portable panels will be available for sheep/goats. If you have your own, bring them please. Bring your own feed, bedding, buckets, first aid, show leads, etc.for your animals.

Clipping/hoof trimming, health care, showmanship, pack/obstacle, parasites, show prep, feeding, first aid, housing, and more! *The McElwains will be doing an Alpaca program on a separate date.

*Bring your own bedding/sleeping bag/pillow, toiletries, shoes without open toes (no sandals, flip flops around animals), and weather suitable clothing.

*Each cabin has it own fire pit, firewood, and grate for cooking if you wish to bring something for dinner Friday evening. The campfire pit will be available for s’mores and traditional camp fun!

*Insect repellant and sun screen

*Breakfast will be supplied- Pat has volunteered to cook.

*Lunch plans TBA

*For Animals: Bring portable panels if you have some, bedding, water and feed buckets, feed, hay, leads, showmanship equipment, first aid supplies for your animal, etc.
