Visitors will be able to see the horses and how they are managed as show horses, this will include stabling, turnout, feed and bedding options and what the cost of managing an equine is. Visitors could possible view a lesson, depending on the time of the visit. And of course HORSES! Materials and equine updates from New York Farm Bureau will also be available at this location.

Visit our farm that has been in the family since 1853 and learn a little history of farming in the North Country.Be sure to wear old shoes or a pair of boots so you can take a walk in our pasture which looks up to the Adirondack Foothills and down to the St. Lawrence River and check for fossils in the rocks along our stone walls as the land was once part of the St Lawrence Sea.

Our flock of Dorset ewes and lambs will be on view in the meadow along with our Scottish Highlander oxen, Great Pyrenees guard dogs and various other farm animals. We will also have a display of wool production in the home and items that have been in use on the farm through the years.

Please refrain from bringing any pets to the farm.
