This course includes five weekly classes geared toward beginning gardeners who want to learn budget friendly ways to grow and harvest their own vegetables.

Space is Limited!

To register please fill out this questionnaire and we will be in touch!

We will cover how to:

  • plan and prepare a garden
  • plant seedlings and transplants
  • care for a garden
  • manage pests
  • use the harvest.

The focus will be on creative ways to contain costs while growing healthy food.

Seed to Supper will be offered in person at JCEO (43 Valco Drive, Malone). 

On Wednesdays at 3pm April 3rd until May 1st. 

Each class will be around 1.5 hours and will be taught by Laura Trudell, CCE Franklin's Horticulture Educator. 

Class dates: 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1. (Please plan to attend all classes)

Participants will receive a free garden manual, seed starting supplies, soil, other gardening tools, and a certificate of completion at the end.
