Gardening on a Budget!

This Class will be offered at TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS

At the Malone JCEO Outreach Center in April - Space is Limited! - REGISTER FOR MALONE HERE!

This course includes four weekly classes geared toward beginning gardeners who want to learn budget friendly ways to grow and harvest their own vegetables.


We will cover how to:

  • plan and prepare a garden
  • plant seedlings and transplants
  • care for a garden
  • manage pests
  • use the harvest.

The focus will be on creative ways to contain costs while growing healthy food.

Seed to Supper will be offered in APRIL person at JCEO (43 Valco Drive, Malone). 

Each class will be around 1.5 hours and will be taught by Laura Trudell, CCE Franklin's Horticulture Educator. 

Class Dates and Times will be determined based upon interest.

Participants will receive a free garden manual, seed starting supplies, soil, other gardening tools, and a certificate of completion at the end.
