This new series is geared towards older youth ages 14-19.
In this fast-paced world, we want our teens to be the most prepared for incoming adulthood. With this workshop series, we hope to strengthen their skills or learn something new from topics like time management, self-care, job etiquette(resume writing, how to interview, etc.), basic auto care(changing a tire, checking fluids, etc.), outdoor survival, cooking with a budget, and cleaning(cleaner safety, what needs cleaning when, how to clean specific things, etc.).
Workshops:
3/30 - Spring Cleaning: cleaner safety, what needs cleaning when, how to clean specific things, keeping track with a schedule.
*5/4 - Automotive Care: changing a tire, checking fluids, items to always have in a vehicle, how to handle emergencies.
*7/13 - Outdoor Survival: how to find/build shelter, fire uses and safety, Wild Edible Plant identification.
*9/28 - Cooking on a Budget: meal planning, how to figure out meal costs, guide to shopping, basic kitchen skills.
