Camp Overlook scholarship applications due

4-H Camp awards financial scholarships to campers of Franklin & St. Lawrence Counties. The 2017 camp fee for a one-week session is $409, and the Cloverbud Camp fee is $195 for the three-day session. While we do everything possible to keep these rates low, the rising costs of operating a facility and program like 4-H Camp Overlook continue to climb. The resulting rates create a hardship for some, which is only alleviated by our annual 4-H Camp Scholarship Fund. These scholarships are available to all youth in Franklin and St. Lawrence County with financial need, and help local children have an amazing summer experience that otherwise would not be available to them!
Over 60 youth received scholarships in 2016 and participated in a wide variety of educational and recreational activities offered at camp. They developed important life skills and leadership qualities, increased their self-confidence, and made lifelong friendships! (and had FUN!)

You can also donate online. 4-H Camp Overlook is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We appreciate the community’s continued support and willingness to help make an outdoor experience possible for Franklin and St. Lawrence County youth!
